A letter from the editor.

Welcome to the inaugural issue of the body inflation zine. In the following pages you will find a varied selection of original works of erotic art. Spanning a wide variety of styles and mediums with contributions from over 20 of the most innovative figures in contemporary expansion filth, this anthology will provide you a wholly unique portrayal of the body inflation genre, one which I hope you will find refreshing, illuminating, and perhaps haunting. When I sent out my requests for contributions, I did not ask the artists to send me their highest quality work. I didn't even ask for good work. What I asked for were works which could capture, from their perspective, the essence of the inflation scene as a whole. The good, the bad, and the circle tool. They delivered, and it is with genuine excitement that I now present it to you as some of the greatest body inflation art ever made. I promise that you have never seen inflation porn like this before, and you will never see it the same way after.

How are we meant to parse the image of the inflated body? Is the platonic pursuit of our art a sphere, or something more human? Is a container distended with air empty or full? The true connoisseur of inflation porn must hold these questions in her thoughts at all times, and must pose them whenever the opportunity arises. There are those among us who find deeper consideration of our craft heretical to the monolith of arousal. I consider them blind. Idiots! All of us are horny. Horny and scared. Fear and arousal are the poles between which we oscillate and are propelled towards deeper understanding. Only by questioning ourselves do we transcend desire and begin to yearn. As you read this zine, I encourage you to look beyond the surface of the inflated body, beyond the exaggerated curve and distorted limb. Look inside, feel the pressure. Find the potential contained within. Phenomenological. Spiritual. Kinetic.
